Army vs Navy Football

The greatest rivalry in sports will write its latest chapter on Saturday, Dec. 14 at Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland, as Army and Navy square off in the final game of the 2024 regular season with bragging rights on the line.

Here at Gospel Rescue Mission, two of our fearless leaders, Executive Director Rich Schaus, and Rescue Director Sean Smith, have served under these branches of the US military; Sean in the Navy and Rich in the Army. So this game is personal!

To add some extra heat to the fire, we are asking our community to support GRM by voting with dollars for your favorite team: Army vs Navy. The team that raises the most money wins bragging rights PLUS a free Shop Local Discount Card to each person who gave on the winning team, just in time for the holidays! Sean and Rich will be watching the game live with our guests in the Bankston Chapel and whoever's team loses will be doing 10 pushups with an additional pushup for every point of the loss deficit. And of course, we'll be streaming that LIVE on Facebook!
